Don't be afraid of the blank page...

Design has changed alongside technology. Canva and many other quick template based options have assisted people with a simple means to add their copy to a template of image, typesetting and colorful background and ... voila.. a design is born. Canva and the quick options work well for people who want a quick post or a design (poster, flyer, social media). But if you are needing a specific image, copy set up a certain way and you want to add more to your ability to create, Adobe CS definitely does the job. It gives you the option to create. Templates are fine for quick, easy use. But beginning with a blank page, adding type and creating elements and watching your skills go to work- it becomes something special- something you personally created. You find out what you can do as a creator, human, individual, etc. So don't be afraid to branch out and start with a blank page and turn it into something amazing. This way you are in the drivers seat and in control of your design.
